Iced Collagen Matcha Latte
- 1 tsp Mega Matcha
- 1 cup milk, any variety
- 1/3 cup warm water
- 2 tsp maple syrup, or to taste
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Favorite Collagen powder
In a cocktail shaker or jar, add milk, followed by collagen and maple syrup and vanilla if using. Shake very well to dissolve collagen. (Alternatively, blend together until frothy)
Add to glass and top with ice.
Rinse the shaker and add water, followed by Mega Matcha. Shake very well to dissolve matcha, about 10 seconds. Pour matcha over milk. Top with more ice if needed. Stir together to enjoy.

When I was studying Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, I loved the natural relief that my nightly herbal “sleepy time” tea had on my anxiety, and my daily matcha had on boosting my mood. However, I couldn't find a tea on the market that satisfied my inner wellness junkie - something highly functional (hello super foods and adaptogens!) fun to drink, and lovely to look at. Now, as a nutritionist and flavour-obsessed foodie, it’s a deal-breaker if our teas aren’t both tasty and delicious. Our name, Lake & Oak, was inspired by the feeling of nourishment from being in nature. With every cup, I hope to provoke that feeling of “ahhhh” that you enjoy when you unplug in the wild, or just on your couch.
